Who is heading out?
When and What route?

I'll most likely be heading out on the 4th and pull in on the 5th. I'll head back on the 7th. I'm pushing for 850 miles a day and will be crossing at Saulte Saint Marie.

That's a lot of miles for two days. You looking for an "Iron Butt" membership, talk to Blaz.
I'm not sure about Sturgis this year, just spent over a grand on gas alone on the last trip to Daytona & S.C. Then the rear brakes went, chalk up another $$$$$$
maybe I'll hit the lottery, that would work.

I tend to only stop for fuel so I'm good for 2.5 hrs between them. Last ride out I had a guy that could only run an hour per tank, that pissed me off... lol

.....well, tell that boy to get a bigger tank.

He was a brother of a friend and won't be joining in any road trips. That was his one and only! An off and on, 9 year project, rigid framed honda 750 chopper that sat for the duration of the project. He had a custom made 2.5 gallon tombstone gas tank with the filler hole almost dead center. Now put the tank on a 50 degree angle and tell me how much fuel you can put in. because his engine sat so long, most of his top end gaskets started blowing oil, covering him and our sweeper! It sure was an experience!

That had to suck. I can't understand why some guys mount the tank "Frisco" style. They should consider the position of the filler hole.
Like ya said, "A One & Done". Bike sounds like a bar hopper anyway.

I managed to get a few more days off for the ride out, just wondering when everyone is pulling in since I may be out earlier...
