FOR SALE A 2000 Suzuki Intruder 1500 LC. This bike is now called the Boulevard M-50. It's a BIG MOTORCYCLE, TOO BIG FOR MY SKINNY BUTT TO HANDLE. It needs some work, primarily electrical. The ignition switch has to be replaced. It needs some minor body work (small dents) and paint and cosmetics. The good: Vance & Hines straight shots, very loud, and Corbin seat, with two position backrest. I just had new Stainless handlebars and new Buffalo grips done. I'm asking $2,000.00 as is, but more if I keep putting more into it. Send me a PM for more info. I can send a picture via cel-phone to yours. It will go on Craigslist in a few days. SOLD

Tofeather what did ya buy to replace it?

I'm looking at a BMW K100 RT. It's a lot lighter, and has 36 K miles, second owner. Hope the bank will float another bike loan.
I need someone to buy the Suzuki so I won't go broke. The old "Yammy" has 85 K miles and needs at least a top end rebuild, which is time consuming and big bux.

Thanx, Hawk, I've been reading up on the BMW K100's. Quite a nice machine considering the years they were made, 1983 - 1989. 90 H.P. "boxer" 4 cyl. motor, single sided swing arm (rear suspension) fully adjustable rear shock. Excellent dash and instrumentation, neutral light and gear position indicator as well as low fuel indicators. It even has a digital clock. The fuel tank hold 5.8 gals., and it runs on REGULAR gas, electronic fuel injection.
I've got two people interested in the Suzuki, one coming over tomorrow, and another on friday if the "tomorrow" guy doesn't buy it.

The Suzuki has been SOLD. A guy came all the way from Binghamton N.Y. to buy it.
