Re: Stainless Steel Bike

Tom Thumb looks great. Now I wonder if that could be scaled up to a full sized machine. Excellent job there, X-90.

Re: Stainless Steel Bike

I machined up the new fuel inlet last night. A shut off valve is not needed on the carburetor since I have one on the fuel tank.

The original 3 pieces are on the left. I machined 2 pieces of stainless in the lathe for the new inlet.

After welding I put the new part in the lathe to finish the machining.

A little time on the buffer and the new fuel inlet is ready to install.

Re: Stainless Steel Bike

Yeah, Bob, same here. I'm going to look at a Beemer, K100 RT, up in Enfield. I got the Suzuki Boulevard and it feels like a TANK on two wheels. It will be sold so I can get something a little less heavy.

Re: Stainless Steel Bike

Thanks for all of the kudos on my new ride. We will have it in Lincoln during bike week but I do not think that I will ride it down to the Looney Bin. Image
