Chrome De-gone

Any ideas on how to remove chrome without going to the platers to do so? They want far to much....

SAND BLAST OR GLASS BEAD, should work. Use Glass bead for thin materials.

Thanks, I'll sand blast it as it is solid legged. I need to cut at least 24" off it too. I want to also put internal throddle split XL bars off the top brace, so no risers are used. Super clean look.
