Re: Laconia Bike Week 2012

My vacation request was denied for the later part of the week but if my bike just happens to take me north on Tuesday then the denied vacation really wouldn't matter....

Just have to figure out whats going on with these tests and see if the kids have anthing going on.

Cupcake drinks Corona.

I'm hoping it stays warm and dry. We'll be over for a least a day, maybe we can make an overnighter. It's always fun showing up at Laconia on a hot, sunny day and looking for a place to stay that night.

If you do the last Saturday I can probably get you in Pine Hollow, for like 35 a person. If you want Friday night I will have to do some wheeling and dealing but it's always possible.

Re: Laconia Bike Week 2012

It's easier for us to come mid-week when Cupcake has off. She hasn't started her summer job yet so we don't know what her schedule will be.

Remember what its' like being in Laconia on a hot, sunny summer day? Sure the hell hope it happens this year, I hate the cold rainy ones.

Midweek is good easier to get a spot maybe tough at Pine Hollow but there always open for negotiation.
I have been going for about 15 years and only a hand full of real hot ones. But this year is looking promising.

Well I'm pretty sure that the two days I have to be at work are Tues and Wed., because that's when I cover for the other guy.

I think I remember last year as hot and sunny, well the one day we were there  I remember sitting in that long, long line getting out of town, the sun beatin on me, the sweat trickling down :ban_001: my hand cramping from holding the clutch, lettin it out, move a foot or two, repeat

Re: Laconia Bike Week 2012

Hi All,

We are relative newbies and am looking forward t meeting veteran Laconia attendees who can point us in the right direction for fun.
We will be staying at Cedar Lodge. Because of work we will have to be there earlier than we would like, but like everyone else gotta make a livin' ...LOl
Anyway we will be there the 8th-11th.
Last year we stayed at Hack-Ma-Tack... it was a tad damp, but we had a good time and it was close to the Broken Spoke.

49 days to go... I hope it is sunny this year, too.

Hey i'm impressed you were able to do that, you are showing some computer skills.
That's another thing I have to fix for some reason it's not easy to put up and avatar.
You have to host it off site and bring it back, of course if you have access to our photo gallery you can do it here. I had to shut down the gallery it was getting spammed every day and I had to delete like 10,000 of them.
Long story short if you want your own avatar email me a picture and i will re-size it and make and avatar for you.
