The Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad provides people with a method of getting around which doesn't involve sitting in hours of traffic. Their train service makes frequent trips in and out Weirs Beach from Lakeport or Meredith.  There is some free parking at both Meredith or Lakeport, but don't be surprised if the free spaces are full.  The round trip fare is $10 per person and no discounts or coupons are honored during bike week.  If you've got beer, drink it before you get aboard, as no alcoholic beverages are allowed on the train.

The train runs from Thursday through Sunday.

Meredith to Weirs Beach

  Trains leave every hour on the half hour from 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM.
   
• Weirs Beach to Meredith
  Trains leave every hour on the hour from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Lakeport to Weirs Beach

  Trains leaves every hour on the hour from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
   
• Weirs Beach to Lakeport
  Trains leave every hour on the half hour from 12:30 PM to 11:30 PM.
